DVD Movies for Sale, Everywhere You Look You See DVD Movies For Sale

April 28th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By Steve McArthur Sure, you can go to the movies, that is if you want to mortgage your house and sell your old collection of baseball cards that you’ve managed to collect since you were a wee lad of 11 or 32. At $7 to $10 a ticket you might want to be somewhat selective in the movies you attend. Remember when you were a kid that there was no such thing as DVD movies for sale at any price, and you didn’t care anyway. Anyone could go to the movies for a quarter and buy a coke for a nickel and a very large sour pickle for ten cents. Of course we haven’t talked about snacks. Who goes to the movies and just watches the movie. We all know that first off you have to have a box of buttered popcorn. I’m talking bushel basket size here. Next, comes the super whopper giant sized diet coke, no foam please. Oh yeah, don’t you hate it when they serve you your drink with the sticky stuff dripping down the side. At least you don’t have to put up with this stuff when you find good DVD movies for sale at your local video store. So, save yourself some money and just stay at home to go to the movies. Why You Shouldn’t Sign-Up For A Free iPhone

April 26th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ian_E._Wright]Ian E. Wright If you are interested in getting free stuff online or anywhere else for that matter you have probably seen offers for free iPods. Immediately following the announcement of Apple Inc. that were going to be producing the iPhone, websites began offering similar promotions for free iPhones to people once they were on sale. The problem with both of these offers is that they are essentially scams. Websites claiming to offer you a free iPhone usually require you just enter your e-mail address or zip code to see if you qualify. The thing is everyone qualifies, assuming they meet certain minimal requirements. Then you have to complete some combination of offers or refer a certain number of friends to get enough points to redeem your iPhone or other gift of your choice. The most obvious problem is that the website you register with may be a scam. This is especially a problem for products such as the iPhone that have yet to be released. The website may get lots of people to register and complete the sponsor’s offers, only to close right after the official release of the iPhone. While, this is the most common worry of people who are thinking about registering for these offers it is not actually the biggest one. In fact most websites claiming to be giving away free iPods actually do give them away. They just make it extremely profitable to do so. Thus there is no need to scam people. Since many of the website offering free iPhones today are part of these same companies, they are probably as legitimate as can be in this industry. The main thing to know about these companies is that they make good money from you before they ever send you and iPod, iPhone or any other gift. You might think that this sounds strange but I will explain. These companies get you to register for certain offers from certain advertisers, which they make money on. Then they force you to refer your friends, who also have to complete these offers for you to get your iPhone. The company makes sure that their cut from the completed offers, more than makes up for the cost of the phone itself. This still might not seem like such a bad deal, after all, you knew that you wouldn’t be able to get the iPhone for nothing. The even bigger problem though is that as more people join it becomes increasingly difficult to refer friends who are interested and not already registered for the offer. Essentially, these schemes are just a variation of a pyramid scheme. While there may be no initial upfront cost, it is still mathematically impossible for the people at the bottom to refer enough people to ever get an iPhone. Thus, most people end up completing a few offers and referring a few friends (but not enough to qualify), yet get nothing. In the meantime the company that originally offered the free iPhone has gotten rich from these people. Sure the company had to give away a few iPhones but it has more than made up the cost through these other sort of shady tactics. If you really want an iPhone my recommendation is to wait until they are released and buy it then. Better yet, if you don’t mind waiting a few months you will be able to buy slightly used ones at a discount. As I have demonstrated, offers of a free iPhone are at worst a scam and at best extremely difficult if not impossible to complete. Save yourself the stress and worry and just pay for it once it is released. I know it’s not free but products like iPhones never really are. 7 Ways a Copywriter Can Help Your Business Succeed

April 22nd, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By Michele Pariza Wacek Think you cant afford to hire a copywriter? Think again. Here are seven ways a copywriter can contribute to the success of your business. #1 Save you time. Chances are, you have more than enough things to fill your day with other than writing brochure copy or freshening your Web site or getting that pesky newsletter article off your desk. When you hire a professional copywriter, not only are you getting one more thing off your to-do list, but also it will probably get done faster than you could do it. #2 Find the right words. Whats the purpose of copywriting? To sell your business, your image, your products or your services. Obvious, right? But whats key here is sell. The words chosen to represent your business, your image, your products or your services need to be doing their job selling what you need sold. Thats where a copywriter shines (the great ones anyway). Making sure those words are out there selling to your target audience. #3 Cut through the chaos. Every day, Americans are hit with over 3,000 attempts to snag their attention. The right words can help your message stand out and be noticed rather than getting overlooked. #4 Provide the foundation of your marketing. The right words can work hand-in-hand with your sales force. Words will soften your target audience, giving your salespeople an edge when they deliver their pitch. A piece of literature or ad can reach hundreds, thousands or even millions of people, and if crafted right, can have them calling your sales force rather than the other way around (wouldnt that be nice?). #5 Keep you in control. When you supply your sales force or employees with already written pitches, sales letters and high-quality literature, you stay in control of your message because theyre using words youve already approved rather than coming up with their own message. #6 Make you look good. Well-written copy combined with eye-catching graphics will add a level of professionalism and elevate your businesss image to a higher level. #7 Help you be objective. Many business people are too close to their business, so its difficult for them to see not just faults but also strengths. Copywriters can come in and be objective, really seeing how best to sell the business, the image, the products or services. Then they can craft the right message for maximum results. Copywriting can be a powerful tool in your marketing arsenal. Make sure the words chosen to represent your company are as compelling and as effective as possible. Occupational Health and Safety - Stress and Workaholism at Work

April 21st, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By Philip Lye There has been a lot of hullabaloo recently about the problems facing Australia in retaining talented workers and the subsequent pressure placed on those remaining behind in the workplace. The incidence in stress claims is rising and is having an impact on the economy and enterprises in general. The incidences of people who work day in day out who in many ways are closet workaholics is increasing. We are told that 1 in 5 Australians are suffering from some sort of mental illness and that 1 in 7 teenagers at high-school suffer from depression. This comes from proven research but my guess is that it is probably higher, after all these subjects are still quite taboo in our society. Why be the richest and unhappiest person in the cemetery? Take a walk around the local cemetery sometimes and read the inscriptions its actually quite interesting what you read. People are becoming crankier, less tolerant, and the workplace is rapidly becoming a battleground where much emotion is wasted in argy bargy, meetings and petty grievances. It could be argued that workaholism could be in part contributed by the ageing population, different generational expectations, talented workers moving offshore and the move from permanent employment to contract working. This is simply untrue. The lesson seems to be that some have work and others dont, slaving away 12 hours plus per day in order to keep the wolf from the door, the mortgage paid, the annual holiday and whatever else pushes their buttons and sacrifice quality of life for what?. Australia has one of the most highly qualified unemployed work-force in the world. I am a firm believer in education and as one wise person said if you think that education is expensive try ignorance. I am committed to life long learning so long as it benefits my clients and me. But what about the commonsense approach of sharing the load and looking after our back yard. Why arent companys learning from their mistakes, taking responsibility (a dirty word today) and ensuring that they are adequately resourced and taking the time to know their people. Or could it be that the relentless drive for shareholder value has blinded the eyes of these executives who sit in their ivory towers issuing edicts mindless to the fact that below them often sits a smoking powder keg. If you were privy to the previous company secrets that I was when I was CEO and the mindless way my superiors though of and treated their employees you would be shocked. Or when I was in Banking and the way the Bank paid out $500,000 in unbudgeted redundancies in 1994 besides other amounts that were cleverly disguised in various ways simply to get rid of people. In my daily work as a strategic human resource management advisor I am privy to the heartaches of people as they tell me their difficulties. Most of these difficulties focus around other work colleagues or overwork. Chronic overwork has a tremendous impact of personal health, family life and company productivity. I have to confess that I was once a workaholic for many years before a heart scare woke me up in time and thankfully without doing any major damage to my health. This is not just my story but one of many that is illustrated by the following true story that I was involved with (names and identities have been changed). The following is a true story with details changed to protect privacy. Liam was the General Manager of an organisation that operated in New South Wales and Queensland. He was very experienced in his field and had been a secret workaholic for 15 years. He had been employed to help get the company back on track after the overseas parent company had put the cleaners through management and left the company drift for 3 months without leadership Soon after starting he began to experience increased pressure and the mantra seemed to be Ive been working on the railroad all the dead day long Yes it was sales, sales, sales, profit, profit, and profit come hell or high-water with no regard to workers who were viewed as lazy. For the first 6 months Liam worked hard at raising the company standard. This often required Liam travelling away from home. Liam started to achieve some credible results and after 6 months had NSW and QLD co-operating as a team for the first time in 12 years and sales and profits started to increase. This came to the notice of the overseas parent but the pressure was not lessoned. This was despite him working 14 16 hour days. Liam wasn’t happy and looked at his options. He took the option to resign although he could have taken leave under workplace health and safety guidelines. In his resignation letter he tabled his concerns about the companys breach of their duty of care, and other known incidences that he had brought to management and that he had not been given the reasonable relief he had requested. I became involved with this process and represented Liam in discussions with the Chairman of the Board. What does the law say? Under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 employers have an obligation to ensure the health and safety of all workers by managing risks at the workplace. This includes physical, mental and emotional. In addition, employers are under a common law duty of care and will be found liable if they break the law and a breach of their statutory and common law obligations are proven. There are heavy penalties for individuals and organisations that disregard the law. All employers have an obligation to be totally upfront and realistic about the job on offer. For more information you will find articles at(www.biz-momentum.com) Biz Momentum which are available for you free of charge. What should the company have done? The company should have had in place a workplace stress policy. Management should have taken their duty of care under workplace health & safety seriously. In this instance employee moral began to suffer because of mismanagement. The company should have had a policy on working hours and what constituted reasonable expectations for after hours, work including management. The company should have taken Liams reports and discussions seriously and investigated his concerns. The company had a general duty of care to ensure that there was adequate employees to cover the work. The company should have consulted their industrial or legal professionals The company should have given Liam adequate time to recover and re-size his position. He had more than proved he could operate successfully through the financial and leadership results. What should Liam have done? Liam followed the right processes documenting his difficulties and speaking with management Liam kept file notes of these discussions. He requested leave that was reluctantly given but only for 1 week, insufficient to recover. He should have gone to his Doctor and taken advice and in my view taken long term leave through WH&S. Liam took industrial advice. Taken counselling we all have issues that sometimes speaking with someone else can help resolve. The Wash-up I meet with the Chairman of the Board and stressed the seriousness of Liams situation. Yes the Chairman understood this and acknowledged there had been some wrong doing by the company. As Liam had voluntary resigned the Chairman proposed that a payment of $60,000 be offered as a without prejudice payment on signing a deed of release. It was ultimately Liams choice and he accepted. How To Find A Cheap Mobile Phone Deal (Or A Cheap Cell Phone Deal) In 5 Steps

April 19th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Paul_Turner]Paul Turner Mobile phones aren’t going away anytime soon, and it’s common for people to have more than one. Finding the cheapest mobile phone deal isn’t always easy with all of the competition, but let me see if I can help. I used to run a mobile phone store, and learnt a thing or two. Step 1 - know what you want. If you’re looking for just a cheap mobile phone to make calls on thats fine. You’re buying on running cost alone. If you’re buying on features or fashion then you need to have at worst a short list of 3 phones that fit the bill. Step 2 - check out the local stores. You should be able to get a handset in your hand and compare deals that are on offer. This may get confusing, but in reality you only need to compare each deal against the cheapest. As one becomes cheaper than the last or one after, you ca discard the more expensive deals. Step 3 - make sure the deals will match your usage. I often found customers would fool themselves about how much they would use the phone. This was a common affliction affecting people from all walks of life. Be honest with yourself. Step 4 - Now the fun begins. Make yourself your favourite drink and start looking through the websites offering mobile phones. Do a search for “Cheap mobile phone deals” and you’ll find many pages. Try to aim for review or comparison pages - they do a lot of the work for you. Once again you are only comparing each deal with the cheapest. You should easily beat the best of the mobile phone store offers online. By now you should have a very clear idea about the phone that you want and the tariff you’re looking for. Simply sign up online! Step 5 - make a note of when the contract comes to an end, and also mark of the dates of any cash back deals you did - you will often have to claim it back at allotted times or lose it. About 2 weeks before the end of your contract, search around again. Deals change all of the time I’m afraid, and your mobile phone provider won’t automatically put you onto their cheapest deal. Having been an ex mobile phone store manager I have put together my own page with the best deals. I review it regularly to make sure the best of the web is represented here. Just go to http://www.mobilephonesonline.co.uk Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Paul_Turner [http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Find-A-Cheap-Mobile-Phone-Deal-(Or-A-Cheap-Cell-Phone-Deal)-In-5-Steps&id=602080 ]http://EzineArticles.com/?How-To-Find-A-Cheap-Mobile-Phone-Deal-(Or-A-Cheap-Cell-Phone-Deal)-In-5-Steps&id=602080 phetermine diet pills phentermine online no prescription buy phentermine with no perscription cheap phentermine overnight delivery

April 16th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

Japanese tools cost more, and often comes in various grade. You usually find novice, intermediate, Professionnal. All graded at different price from lowest to highest. Then, you have the stainless steel tools, wich are the summum. They are often professionnal grade but rust-proof. So, novice japanese tools are ok for a beginner ? You bet. Once you’ll get more serious about bonsai, you can start to upgrade your bonsai tool kit. As for wich tool you should use, the first tool often considered and recommended is the concave cutter. Burning Fat vs. Burning Calories

April 14th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By Vernita Sherman To lose weight and get in shape you must have a good diet and exercise regularly to burn fat. The first thing you must understand about exercise is that just because you are burning calories does not mean you are burning fat. Your main focus when you exercise should be losing body fat, and you cant lose body fat just from burning calories. When we exercise, our bodies will start burning calories, but the calories that are burned are the calories from carbohydrates in our system. In order to burn calories from your stored fat, your body requires the presence of oxygen. There is a certain amount of oxygen that your body needs in order to start burning fat and the only way for you to measure the amount needed for your own body is to keep up with your target heart rate during exercise. Please understand that if you continue to only burn calories from carbohydrates, you will lose mostly water weight which leads to a decrease in your metabolism. Also, think of the calories that are burned from carbohydrates as your energy calories. If you lose too much energy calories then your muscles will not receive enough energy to increase your metabolism which indirectly burn fat. Therefore you must increase your calorie intake when you are on an exercise program to replace your burned energy calories. Burning Fat Calories during exercise During aerobic exercise, your body goes through several stages before it reaches the point where you are burning fat. You will hear people say that you are only burning sugar (carbohydrates) not fat during the first 10 minutes of exercise. This is true to a certain extent. I say this because you will continue to burn sugar past the 10 minute mark if you are not working out hard enough for your body to want more oxygen; or you are working out too hard and you cant supply your body with enough oxygen for fat burning. When you exercise you must move at a steady pace (not too fast, not too slow) so your body will utilize your stored fat (not carbohydrates or sugar) as its energy source. Also remember that just because you reached the fat burning stage does not mean you will stay there. Staying at the fat burning stage once again depends on if you are moving at a pace that is right for your body. Make sure that you are within your target heart rate range. Burning Fat Calories at rest The only way for you to continue to burn fat calories hours after you have finished working out is through the anaerobic exercise of weight training. Weight training is the key to burning fat at rest. Weight training is an anaerobic activity that will cause you to burn more calories than aerobic exercise. The calories that you are burning during weight training exercises are mostly calories from carbohydrates (meaning you must eat even more calories per day for energy); but the calories you burn at rest are mostly calories from fat. The reason you are burning fat at rest is because weight training increases your metabolism which uses your stored fat as energy. To make your body the ultimate fat burning machine you must do aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic (weight training) exercises. This article was written by Vernita Sherman of Ultimate Fat Burning Secrets. Looking Like Me on My Wedding Day

April 11th, 2008 by keltoumayerneni

By Evie Lampard I am positive sure I am not the only bride in this world who wants to look exactly like herself on her wedding day. One thing I want to remember for a long, is that I don’t want to be “different” on my wedding day, just a little nicer, a kind more polished appearance of the usual Me. Until now, I am not having hair or make-up right “done”. My problem is I have short hair that doesn’t permit a variety of styles. But I paid some money for custom make-up color matching some time ago, so I have a lot of self-belief in the make-up I have in my bathroom cabinet. I have read someday, that every bride must know how to put her own hair in order just in case there is necessary, by accident, to re-do it at the ceremony or during the reception. The make-up operation really puzzles me. If you are a person wearing make-up most days, this thing will be a better training to know how to apply it effectively yourself. and this situation will help you to benefit from looking good all the time. If you don’t, then you assume the risk of looking like other person in your wedding photos.
